Posted By: Hewson Beattie July 21, 2021 @ 8:53 pm Local News, News, State A man from Springfield has been charged in federal court for a bank robbery earlier in July.  Investigators say Charles Edgar King Jr., used a note to steal almost $8,815 from a Guaranty Bank on North Glenstone July 10.  Police received a tip that King was staying at a local hotel before he was later taken into custody.
