Clemmons Stott has been with DSI for 5 1/2 years.
“I came to DSI with a strong mandate to strengthen the organization so that we could turn ‘potential’ into ‘reality’ and be the strongest voice possible for downtown businesses,” said Clemmons Stott in a press release Wednesday. “I am extremely proud of the work we’ve accomplished together during my tenure, which includes months with some of the worst conditions for businesses in a century (with the pandemic).
Clemmons Stott did not give a reason for leaving or her future plans. She did not return a call from The State Journal-Register.
A not-for-profit organization, DSI was formed in 1993 and works to preserve, promote and enhance Springfield s historic central business district.
