A dangerous thunderstorm has swept through the Redlands, Brisbane s bayside area, dumping 95 millimetres of rainfall in one hour.
The region copped a total of 191 millimetres overnight, while isolated places across south-east Queensland also received high totals including Mount Tamborine with 100 millimetres, Cape Moreton with 119 millimetres and 137 millimetres falling on North Stradbroke Island.
A car was stuck in floodwaters at Coomera in Logan. QFES and SES were called to assist.
