As part of Starbuck s Spring menu launch comes a big celebration of the coffee chain s 50th anniversary. There s something new to sip, wear and brew.
It is hard to believe it s been 50 years since Starbucks was founded in 1971 at Pike s Place Market in Seattle, Washington. The company was sold to Howard Schultz in the early 1980s and that s when they started to become the espresso-based drink makers we absolutely love to this day.

From March 8 through March 14, Starbucks is releasing a very special, limited-edition blend that you can sip and purchase. The 50th anniversary coffee features bold Indonesian-sourced beans with notes of smoked cedar spice, black truffle, and fresh tarragon. The coffee is available for purchase as a whole bean bag, as well as a cup of this dark roast brew.
