Base Gagetown will begin its annual Spring Grass Burning Program on Monday.
Controlled burning will take place during normal working hours on days with suitable weather conditions, and could include some weekend days between now and May 24.
A release from the base said the program is meant to reduce dead grass accumulation and helps prevent forest fires during the more hazardous parts of the summer.
