Grand Forks, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The National Weather Service in Grand Forks put out a new Spring Flood Outlook today for the Red River Valley and the Devils Lakes area.
NWS GF Warning Coordination Meteorologist Greg Gust says “After a snappy (mainly southern Basin) winter storm, we’re moving back into a warm-up cycle. That said, we are still in early spring so we can expect to see a few cold snaps yet before the final thaw and spring green-up occur. Record warm temperatures early this week melted the last of our meager
winter snowpack… just in time to catch a fresh batch of
