all right here is the first look at this morning s dish of scrambled politics. what happens in las vegas doesn t necessarily stay in las vegas. especially when it comes to 2016 been jeb bush, scott walker, chris christie. all governors or former governors are hoping billionaire shelly adelson will bid on them. they spent more than $90 million trying to elect a republican in 2012. influential republicans are working to trap jeb bush in the presidential race. the washington post reporting powerful insiders are starting talks on fundraising strategy. more than ever young people are aligning themselves with the democratic party especially since 2006. last year 53% of 18 to
grew up in, all right? great. bill: she has been in that house now for 60 years? okay. if i didn t pay her property tax, they would seize her house. she couldn t pay it, all right? because she doesn t have enough money coming in on social security. if i didn t pay it, they would seize my mother s house because of taxation. and you know what? there is plenty of people in that boat. and now we have more and more and more, and they mask it on the high wage earners. but it effects everybody, does it not? sure. absolutely. very quick example is obama care. $700 billion in new taxes kicking in this year that will be spread over 10 years in addition to the $1.3 trillion that is now the new estimate. this is these taxes are rolling out on everybody. not just high earners. and the idea that government, you know, i got
country. many 20s across the map here. 36 memphis. 39 kansas city. the snow pack is not going anywhere this weekend. look at florida. florida you are going to feel the deep 3 s in some cases. 50 in atlanta, 60 jacksonville today is the daytime high. into sunday northern part of the state even into central parts of florida. 15-20 degrees below average. we are almost there. first day of spring, ladies, 19 days rather first day of march, 19 official days until spring comes the 20th of march. we will do the count down for you. we will count it down every day until we finally get there, patti ann. just because it is called spring doesn t necessarily mean the weather is going to be spring like. that s very true. janice dean, thanks.
not if history is an example, ask larry sabato. the passion gap, republicans don t have it and voters are nonplussed do you say it doesn t pan out, but it leads to more or less voting? guest: that is right. passion test sounds like a sex scandal can i don t know if i want to get in to this but essentially what i am suggesting is that passion in the spring doesn t necessarily lead to votes in the fall. there are a lot of great historical examples. i don t think there has ever been a candidate who generated more passion and enthusiasm than john f. kennedy in 1960 and he won one of the two or three closest elections to president in american history. you have to be careful. passion and the dominance of celebrity on television doesn t necessarily produce a victory in the fall. neil: i guess part of the argument with passion you get out color followers and if they are jazzed and excited you think
