MORGAN It has been a landmark dining location in town for four decades, but on Saturday night, a popular restaurant will be closing its doors.
Larry s Spring Chicken Inn first opened in 1979 and Larry Wiggill has operated the business for the past 33 years in a historic building that was once known as the Morgan Opera House. I ve spent 40 years of my life in this building and it s going to be hard, Wiggill said Friday.
Wiggill said he finds himself working seven days a week even when the Inn is closed and for as many as 15 to 17 hours in a given day.
