ROSEVILLE The Roseville Public Library is inviting local families to stop by for some Easter-themed fun at its first Spring Book Walk and Egg Hunt.
The program will allow children between the ages of 2 and 10 to walk along the library grounds while reading the pages of a story, “Too Many Carrots,” by Katy Hudson, as they go. Along the way, there will be opportunities to hunt for plastic eggs and win prizes.
“It’s a fun outdoor event. There’s a chance to do something with family that’s free, and there’s also prizes. … The eggs are plastic and have things inside that tell you what you’ve won,” said Community Relations Librarian Jason Novetsky. “The prizes are supported by the Friends of the Roseville Public Library. They donated them all.”
