Huron County man faces assault charges SHARE ON: A Huron County man faces a number of charges after an assault involving a weapon in Clinton. Around 8 o’clock Thursday night, Huron County OPP officers say they were called to an area on Victoria Street. When they arrived, police say they learned there was a confrontation on the street between the accused and a group of five people. They say the accused yelled threats toward the group then ran across the street towards them and them he assaulted some of them with a knife.
