are which is why we saw a bump in that poll that you alluded to earlier. people are saying maybe there s something here. a lot of that was mueller coming out. exactly. i think democrats, at some po t point, they have to decide we go by politics and we go by morals and ethics and move forward with impeachment. what is the best way to move forward. i strongly believe the best way to do this is to convince the american people that there is more there that they are just not awire are of yet. that would put pressure on the republicans in the senate where you have voters saying we re seeing what s going on on the news. we re hearing the radios. why aren t you guys doing more to stand up against this president. donald trump only won this election, by 77,000 votes because he lost the general. merely because he s an incumbent doesn t mean he can t be beaten in 2020. we talked a lot about the politics but what about the
republicans be botching this themselves or do you think because they hold all the cards, because they control the committee process, they can walk away from monday without having christine testify and be just fine and sail right on past this? i think it depends on who you ask. yes, there s always a chance that they are going to look really bad in this situation. but as things stand, as david said, this is the process that we re dealing with at this po t point. and there is an argument to be made that they could actually be worse for them if she does show. up because of optics. so we re going to have to et see how this pans out as to how bad or how not bad they look at the end of the day. senate republicans and mitch mcconnell in particular are so results oriented when it comes to supreme court come fir magss. you ll republican during the
are you going to ask your nominees beforehand how they might vote on roe v. wade? that s a big one, and probably not. they re all saying don t do that. you don t do that. you shouldn t do that. but i m putting conservative people on. this president, this administration, is all about overturning precedents. i would not support a nominee who demonstrated hostility to roe v. wade because that would mean, to me, that their judicial philosophy did not include a respect for established decisions. roe v. wade and many different ways has been affirmed over the years. i think that my colleagues on both sides of the aisle know that this vote could be a one of the key votes of their entire career. the roe v. wade, you know, is probably the one that people are talking about in terms of having an effect, but we ll see what happens, but it could very well end up with states at some po t
point because it s a critical point. before you can get to that po t point, the president has to look himself in the mirror. if these allegations are false, have that evidence, have that material when he meets with senators. if one or two of them are correct, we re all human. make your case to senators as you go through some of this stuff. instead the president nominated him on a whim, sent him there without a thorough vetting and now his reputation has been tarnished. senators on capitol hill say they want to keep going. forget donald trump, forget republicans. there is a doctor who sided with the president of the united states on these key foreign trips and there is question about his conduct. not only has the president not learned the lesson about the vetting question, but because dr. jackson a nomination was sort of went awry because of these character issues, the president also has not confronted what were deemed
let s listen to this. god bless you. god bless israel. god bless the palestinians, and god bless the united states. thank you very much. thank you. as a doctor, anything you see there? well, it s interesting. obviously you see the difficul y he has forming words, and i was watching him walk to his seat, because if somebody has difficulty with their speech the first big concern is he having a tia, and he was doing fine, and he pulled the table out with both hands, and this was something inside of his mouth, dry mouth, they say, or a misplaced tooth. he was speaking about 11 minutes fine before he got to that po t point. he is going to have a
