That left around 400homes without power. It also sent a live wire into the street. The Fire Department had to show up. It took them several hours to fix this scary situation. Crews spent a lot of time up in the trees. Sawing branches. Businesses on miller avenue in mill valley spent last night. Bagging up. A shoe store along miller. Have not only sand bags up. But also trash bags and tape. To keep any potential floodwaters out. All the fallen rainwater is gushing into storm drains. The drains empty to a creek that runs right by several businesses. Storm team 4 radar tracking the flakes as they go right through the heart of the capital beltway, right over the capital city. Moderate snow at times. Not an awful lot sticking on the roads. Quite a few locations with half an inch to an inch on the grassiest surfaces and exposed locations. Still watching the the snow pile up a touch. Heavier snow moving into parts of charles county. Theres the back end of the snow now. Its already stopped in hagerstown. Martins burg. This bay area guy fell off a Vertical Rock face in yosemite and he lived. Youll see the incredible rescue. Andria borba is at his hospital in modesto. Reporter yeahliz, despite this mans serious injuries, he will walk again and he says he will climb again as well. This is how easter in yosemite began for Blake Parkinson and ben tomsky. This is how it ended with a chp helicopter hauling blake off of the granite. He was tackling the most difficult stretch when everything went wrong. Reporter one unnamed federal aviation official is quoted as saying that Surveillance Video here at san jose did show the teen getting into the plane.
