ELLISVILLE The Spoon River Rascals Theatre Troupe will take the stage once again, presenting musical comedy Little Shop Of Horrors June 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. and a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee the 20th.
If you haven’t attended a live theatrical in a while, Little Shop Of Horrors is a positively perfect post-pandemic production!
When Seymour Krelborn purchases an odd little plant and takes it home with him to Mushnik’s Skid Row Florist, the failing business is revitalized by interest in the new exotic plant, affectionately called the “Audrey II” after Seymour’s co-worker and secret crush, Audrey. When he accidentally discovers the plant thrives on human blood, Seymour faces increasing moral dilemmas as success in life and love depend on his keeping the plant fed by supplying it’s increasing appetite with fresh victims!
