MANHATTAN, KAN. –  Officers filed a report for theft in the 4200 block of Spook Rock Way in Manhattan on March 31, 2021, at approximately 10:00 a.m. Officers listed a 38-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 32-year-old female stole her yellow 2006 Volkswagen Beetle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,400.00. The vehicle was located at the Starbucks in Aggieville and returned to the owner. MANHATTAN, KAN. –  Officers filed a report for sexual exploitation of a child in Manhattan on January 27, 2021, at approximately 10:39 a.m. Officers listed a 17-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown male suspect asked for sexual favors and photographs in exchange for illegal narcotics. Due to the nature of this crime, no further information will be released.

The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $28,000.00. On January 8, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the vehicle was located in Geary County by Kansas Highway Patrol and returned.
