The much-awaited direct flight service from Sangam city to Kolkata is likely to resume in June with Indigo Airlines seeking a time slot. Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and airport administration have given the green signal for the same. Efforts are on to increase the number of flights from Prayagraj to different cities again keeping in mind the Maha Kumbh 2025. The target is to connect Prayagraj with 25 cities before the upcoming mega religious event.
