Melanie Auld By Ian McConnell AN East Lothian-based entrepreneur who developed a passion for spices while working and travelling in India in 1993 has seen her Spice Pots blends added to the WW (Weight Watchers Reimagined) shop’s range. Melanie Auld, founder and managing director of Spice Pots, said: “Spice Pots is all about helping people make quick, and most importantly, healthy curries at home, so teaming up with WW is a perfect partnership.” Spice Pots said yesterday that, after an initial order which sold out in days, its dry spice blends, and curry kits with recipe booklets are now available permanently at the WW shop. Its products are now on sale in more than 400 stockists across Scotland, England and Ireland. In 2017, Ms Auld won her first international listings in Germany and her products have proved popular on Amazon marketplace.
