The United State Coast Guard, a good Samaritan and other local agencies rescued 14 people who abandoned ship after their charter passenger vessel, the "Sea Jay," struck a rock near Santa Cruz Island early Thursday morning.
Crews removed the Speranza Marie, a 60ft fishing boat, from Santa Cruz Island early morning Thursday. The vessel went down in the Chinese Harbor on Dec. 15, 2022.
