items like chip and daca and immigration more generally. where do you think major hangups will be? you are right, they averted a government shutdown for only a few weeks. had to reconsider the whole spending question. in two weeks now the government could shut down again. their major spending questions. as you said, there are also big ones on healthcare. on immigration and with all of this, the overarching question is, the midterms are coming and how is that going to play in? as soon as they get back in early january they will have to deal with a number of healthcare questions and a number of spending questions that are really going to make things pretty difficult on capitol hill for everyone involved. and an interest of the kitchen sink theory. i want you to take a listen, take a look at the treatment by the president on infrastructure. maybe we do not have it.

great move by obama to make it so romney really can t talk about the economy as much as you thought he could. richard, it s willie. we heard the caricature in the atlantic of mitt romney as the out of touch rich guy with a monicle and top hat. how does that line up with the policies he puts in place as president. that s what really matters. would he be that guy protecting the wealthy? we know he wants to cut the corporate tax rate among other things, but would he really be bad for the middle class as a president of the united states? well, if you look at where he s making his choices on spending, you know, he was standing in front of that big banner saying cut the spending. for starters, it s not really about jobs, and you can talk about deficits and they re very important. first and foremost, people want to know about jobs. middle class want to know about opportunity for their kids. he s not really talking about that stuff. look at the choices he has made on spending questions.
discernible in this context. i think you re exactly right, the republicans have dominated the playing field and that s why it was a little surprising at the end to see them fumble the ball to continue a bad metaphor and cede back some of this on the planned parenthood issue which makes me think there is really a civil war within the republican party, or at least some faction there, the tea party is maybe the tail wagging the dog, saying to john boehner, hey, you can t seize this victory. we ll pull you back into a fight that he probably doesn t want. well, let s wait and see. there is reporting tonight that from various cnn sources, reporters, correspondents like dana bash saying, basically that that issue of planned parenthood has been solved and really back to spending questions. but i want to come back to the international impolitics of this. as you know, we have become so dependent on foreigners to buy our treasury bonds on a regular
