CHICAGO (AP) The Chicago Bears have added help on the defensive line, agreeing to a deal with former Tennessee Titans defensive end DeMarcus Walker. Walker tweeted that he has an agreement in place with Chicago. Former Seattle Seahawks running back Travis Homer agreed to a two-year deal with Chicago worth as much as $4.5 million, agent Spencer Cannold said Tuesday night.
Tuesday was a much more boring day in free agency for the Chicago Bears than Monday. The Bears signed four players on Monday and didn’t agree to a running back’s terms until late in the evening.
Running back David Montgomery has reached agreement with the Lions on a three-year deal worth $18 million, including $11 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN.
