The Tories have seen their majority decimated at the county council with seats lost in the 2021 local elections, but they do still have control.
Surrey County Council s 81 seats were all voted for on Thursday (May 6) along with a swathe of district and borough council seats, many of which were due to be contested in May 2020 when the pandemic postponed the elections.
Of 81 seats, The Conservative Party have taken 47 seats, followed by Liberal Democrats with 14. Residents Associations of Epsom and Ewell took 4 seats, with Independent councillors and Farnham Residents taking three seats each.
