►► The 7 Vintage Watches I Would Buy If They Were Affordable

Share As soon as you enter the world of mechanical watches, it seems like you enter an alternate reality at times. Especially when you have the privilege to write about luxury timepieces, watches that cost thousands and often tens of thousands of Euros are not uncommon to end up in your hands. While experiencing expensive timepieces from up close is absolutely amazing, there is always the reality that most of them will never be a permanent part of my life. But it’s time to dream a little and come up with a list of vintage watches I would buy if they were affordable.

Mike s Favorite Watches of 2020 — Breitling, Ming, Grand Seiko, Omega, Moser, And More

Comments Share 2020 was quite a year in all respects and that’s true regarding timepieces. Here were some of my favorite watches over the past 12 months. I recently penned an article on the vintage Japanese watches that entered my collection during 2020. That was a seriously fun article to write, but what about new watches Japanese or not? Well, I am here to say that this year, of all years, was one of my favorites when it came to new releases. Perhaps I focused more on them than in the recent past, but I don’t think so. With so many approachable luxury releases (and many in my favorite dive genre), I really enjoyed myself. Oh, and then there were the bracelets! Seriously, for such a wild year, watch companies made good in an area where they had been making a lot of bad. Let’s get on to my favorite watches of 2020.

Omega Speedmaster World Cup — The Winner, The 321 Ed White

Omega Speedmaster World Cup The Winner, The 321 Ed White Comments Share So I won the Fratello Speedmaster World Cup 2020. Actually, I didn’t win anything; it was the watch I was assigned to as custodian for this competition’s length. Is it my merit that we came out first? I doubt it. It has to be the charm of the 321 Ed White. One thing is for sure; I have not written so much, so many times about one single watch than I did about the 321 Ed White. So this article will be my victory lap. Let’s how a look at each piece now. We’ll pay tribute to my amazing teammates who took up the glove (and failed), one after the other
