the speech itself, what i expect to happen is that if past is prelude, donald trump is kind of a one trick pony. he knows how to do one thing very well. that s go on the attack, and so i think what he ll do is he ll start screaming about which hunts and hoaxes. he ll try to rev up his base, which is a very good political strategy. it s not a good legal strategy, and he s now converting from the political to the legal. um and in that sense, you know, i think he s going to have a really hard time making that conversation. convergent he is to his base, the pied piper. and they will forgive him anything. but when you get into a legal venue, they worry about evidence. any worry about facts, and so donald trump is going to be in a more hostile environment. in that regard, he will wear his indictment as a badge of honor. um but i think for most of us were now beginning to see more clearly that the emperor has no clothes . his base is still blind to that most americans are beginning to see tha
handcuffs. i think there s going to be much less of that than some people anticipate. i think it s gonna be very businesslike . i think he ll go in the side door. there won t be a lot of cameras and it will be done very subtly. and with what i think, you know, dignity even and so i think that s as it should be not just for a former president, but for anyone, and so i think the real events will take place after the arraignment. i think when he goes to give his speech in mar-a-lago that night, that s when the fireworks may start. would you expect to happen? well i think in this in the speech itself, what i expect to happen is that if past is prelude, donald trump is kind of a one trick pony. he knows how to do one thing very well and that s go on the attack. and so i think what he ll do is he ll start screaming about which hunts and hoaxes. he ll try to rev up his base, which is a very good political strategy. it s not a good legal strategy, and he s now converting from the political to
their summation, prevent an indictment to the grand jury, and give the grand jury time to deliberate and but. i don t know if that cannot happen in one day, but my guess is it will happen monday or wednesday this week when they re also scheduled to they can always decide alvin bragg pullback his indictment. but it seems like they re proceeding at pace, and we might expect an indictment monday or wednesday. at the, way all eyes will be on the courthouse. you are following last night s rally. how did trump respond to these investigations? how did the specifically attack the investigators? look. i think the speech itself, which trump wrote himself, actually, for the first time in a long time, was a regurgitating of a lot of his own grievances. and a lot of his own personal problems that with the investigations. what was more interesting was what he wrote told reporters after the rally, because he was more forthcoming with, i think,
