This year’s festival features “We Are All Shadows,” a solo exhibit by New Orleans painter Lillian Aguinaga. The exhibit, up through June 10, opens at 5 p.m. Friday at Acansa Gallery, 413-A Main St., North Little Rock, and is included in the Third Friday Art Walk presented by the Argenta Arts District.
Last year saw a small avalanche of recordings by Trevor Bates. The Little Rock singer-songwriter released three LPs two, "In the Eleventh House" and "On the Golden Precipice," consisting of what what he calls "esoteric Americana" and "Ritual Wants," a collection of lo-fi, noisy, garage-grunge.

Rachel "Brick" Fields and Fonky Donkey perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Fields, a singer-songwriter-guitarist-flutist, and her husband, guitarist and backing vocalist Larry Brick, will be accompanied by Little Rock band Fonky Donkey.
