IAT Insurance Group, a provider of specialty property/casualty and surety products, has hired Bobbie Goldie as senior vice president of the company’s Moving & Storage division as well as Distribution Strategy. She will also serve as a member of IAT’s Management Committee.
Goldie joins IAT with more than 25 years of industry experience most recently at Chubb Insurance Company where she was senior vice president, Cyber. Prior to that role, Goldie led Chubb’s Canadian Major Accounts businesses which included Property, Global Casualty, Environmental/Construction, Excess, Specialty Casualty, and Financial Lines. In this role she worked on the integration of ACE and Chubb’s Canadian operations.

TigerRisk Names Ridpath a Partner in Casualty Practice January 6, 2021
Broker/adviser TigerRisk announced it has appointed Glyn Ridpath a partner in the company’s fast-growing Casualty Practice. Based in London, he will report to James Few, TigerRisk’s CEO UK.
Ridpath started his insurance industry career in the claims department of Aon where he rapidly advanced to become a junior broker. From there he became a senior broker at HSBC where he began developing his casualty specialty expertise. In short order he was named partner at JLT Re where he worked to broaden the company’s offerings. In 2016 Ridpath was named managing director and head of Specialty Casualty at Guy Carpenter. By 2018 he had come full circle and returned to Aon as a managing director.
