what are you hear something. so democrats in particular are calling on the house oversight committee to investigate number one the 2008 plea deal. you ll remember the house oversight committee started looking into that issue when alex acosta was still the labor secretary. the u.s. attorney down there in miami who handled the 2008 plea deal. but it kind of got swept under the rug when he ended up resign ing last month. the second thing they want the house oversight committee is of course the circumstance of epstein s death and how such a high profail file inmate was able, perhaps the highest profile inmate in that prison in manhattan, was able to do that. something to look out for from democrats in the coming weeks, will be the extent to which they can trust the attorney general william barr and the justice department at large to connect an investigation into this. given of course how critical democrats were of barr s handling of the special couns
