PLAINFIELD A slate of eight proposed Town Charter revision questions are the hands of selectmen ahead of a planned November referendum on the recommended amendments.
The Charter Revision Commission, which has met several times each month since February, will host a special meeting on Thursday to discuss any changes to its draft report before the questions forwarded to the Board of Selectmen earlier this month are scrutinized at a joint commission/selectmen meeting and June public hearing.
First Selectman Kevin Cunningham he doesn’t expect the draft questions to be changed much before they’re approved by selectmen and forwarded to the state for final ballot language approval.
