Anti-Terror Detachment 88 (Densus 88) personnel are seen bringing a terrorist onto a bus at Polda East Java, Surabaya
JAKARTA: The National Police’s Special Anti-terror Detachment 88 (Densus 88) arrested a suspected terrorist who assembled the bomb for suicide bombing culprits at the Makassar Cathedral Church, South Sulawesi.
“On the initials W, we have secured the mastermind behind the bomb-making,” said National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo said Wednesday night.
Sigit said that W was one of 13 people in Makassar who had been arrested by Densus 88. They were said to have links to the suicide bombing. However, he did not give details about the time and location of the arrest.
