Police deploys at Kadaga, Ssemujju homes
May 24, 2021 Museveni has been all-present throughout the voting process at Kololo
Police have deployed heavily at the city and upcountry homes of Jacob Oulanyah, Rebecca Kadaga and Ssemujju Nganda to avert any possible attacks, police spokesperson Fred Enanga has said.
MPs of the 11th parliament are today casting their ballots at Kololo Independence grounds amidst tight security and the watchful eye of President Yoweri Museveni.
The ruling party fronted Oulanyah as their unopposed flag bearer despite the fact that the party s national vice chairperson Kadaga also expressed interest in the same seat. Kadaga, who stormed out of the NRM central executive committee (CEC) would later stand as an independent candidate while Ssemujju is running on the opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket.
