Liberia Council of Churches Urges General Auditing Commission To Request An Audit Of The National Legislature Liberia Council of Churches Urges General Auditing Commission To Request An Audit Of The National Legislature Share MONROVIA – The Liberia Council of Churches (LCC), through its President Bishop Kortu K. Brown, has called for a full comprehensive forensic audit of the National Legislature in a bid to combat against fraud, waste and abuse in the first branch of the Liberian government. Founded in 1982, the LCC is an ecumenical Christian organization that comprises of churches and other religious groups operating in  Liberia. A statement issued in Monrovia over the week end quotes the group’s President as urging authorities of the General Auditing Commission (GAC) to take the lead and request for an audit of the National Legislature.
