An arson investigation is underway after a fire at the former home of a Police Officer charged in the shooting death of a man last april. The fire started at Michael Slagers former home, just before 9 30 last night in hanahan. You may remember slager is the former North Charleston Police Officer charged with murder in the shooting death of walter scott, on arms at the time. Unwararmed at the time. Investigators say a glass cocktail bottle was found at the scene. Activists say slager should stay in jail, saying hes a danger to the community. He was least he was released on bond monday.
