A safety notice has been issued for bottles with use by dates in May, June and July of 2023.
The firm said: Highland Spring Ltd is recalling their 750ml glass bottle Sparkling Spring Water on a precautionary basis because there have been a small number of reports that the bottle has exploded. Please avoid unnecessary handling of the product and do not return to the store, instead, safely dispose of the product.
It advised customers to contact the company for a refund.
