A portrait made by Spanish portraitist Diego Velázquez depicting the country's queen in the 1620s, Isabel de Borbón, has been quietly pulled out of the upcoming Sotheby's auction in New York.
Jaime Del Burgo, 53, who is based in the UK, contributed to a tell-all book last month about the royal mother-of-two, in which he said he and Letizia were partners before he wed her sister.
