[ speaking french ] [ speaking french ] weve already announced more, already are doing more. But this isnt just a game of trying to up the numbers. Were trying to do things responsibly. Ive visited refugee camps in syria, in northern iraq. Ive visited with families we have accepted from these regions. I have met with leaders from those communities, not just in canada, but in the region itself. And i can certainly tell you, from my visits to the refugee camps in jordan and debriefings there, we cant pretend there are no security risks. Its important that we do screening. Those countries in the world that responded to these headlines as these others would have by just opening the doors and doing no checking have rapidly regretted that, and are now trying to put in place the very kind of system that canada has been pursuing all along.
