Smta noted the project working group, which included business along Market Street and the planned turnaround. As well as coordinating with developers on large projects for midmarket. C. A. C. Members also reacted favorably to the elimination of private vehicle traffic on all of Market Street, in the project area below 10th street. Seeing this as an advantage to reducing congestion and moving transit in this crowded area. The c. A. C.

And there are a lot of changes happening over those two years, especially with land use and population, in addition to transportation changes. So there are a bunch of factors that go into these changes. But we did find evidence that the lanes are improving transportation speeds of transit speeds on mission. Supervisor yee s that the percentage improvement any different from of different lines that didnt have the red sort of lanes . Most of the lines have just remained steady. Thats what our average speed shows. And improvement is always better than just being steady. Supervisor yee well, i mean, that would be really interesting to know, because were making investments in these lanes. And i assume that it will this study should show that its having some marked improvements in terms of the speed of the buses itsel
