The Flaming Lips are craving the energy that can only come from an in-person concert so they came up with a plan they call “Space Bubbles.”
They’re planning a show for next year where the band and every audience member will be in a separate plastic bubble, kind of like a hamster ball, to maintain social distancing.
The first Space Bubble concert is set for Oklahoma City in January and they hope to bring the concept to more cities if it’s a success.
