Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 2 ½ to finish at 615 ½. May Corn was up 1, to close at 554 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 7 ½, to settle at 555 ½.
Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were dn 85 – 1.35, ranging from 6-70. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for May was dn 10- Unch, ranging from 6-70 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for June were dn 7 ¾, ranging from 6-77 to 6-82. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June had a mixed market up 3 ¼ and dn 6 ¾, ranging from 7-30 to 7-35.
