A local woman is doing just that with a bigger end goal in mind.
Traveling down Oakwood Forest Drive in Bryan, Marciela William s front lawn stands out. I m a crafter by nature so I am always messing with stuff, Marciela Williams, owner, Yards of Blessings said.
Williams moved to the area about a year ago and doesn t know many people, so she s using her own front lawn to advertise her Christian-based business, Yards of Blessings.

Syracuse, N.Y. Chariel Osorio stood in front of his Near West Side home with a smile on his face and a diploma in his hands.
It was a sunny June day, and Osorio had just graduated from Corcoran High School. The 17-year-old boy, still clad in his shiny maroon graduation cap and gown, posed for a photo proudly showing off his new degree.
Six hours later, Osorio was shot in the head.
