Pastor Bobby J. Wilson was a quiet but mighty leader, servant to the people and a man who loved his community.
Wilson was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas but found a home in Pueblo in 1968. He spent the next 45 years as the pastor of Praise Assembly of God church.
Wilson died Dec. 18, but the pastor, husband, father and friend is remembered fondly by those who knew him.
“First and foremost, he was a pastor,” eldest son Michael Wilson said. “He really focused on his congregation and building that, but what he was really interested in was having a place where people could come and discover Christ and Christianity. He knew that the church had to be involved in the community, not politically but in the form of service.”

Tarleton State University has been named among Texas best online colleges and universities by www.edsmart.org. Online colleges in Texas offer different incentives, such as free textbooks for undergraduates or special tuition rates for active military and veterans, to ensure students have every opportunity to succeed, according to information posted on edsmart.org. The same faculty that teach on-campus often teach their subject’s online course as well, which means the virtual courses are just as comprehensive as they are accessible.
EDsmart assesses online colleges in Texas based on data that covers four main areas:

SAGU Public Relations
When COVID-19 restrictions no longer permitted Southwestern Assemblies of God University students to meet with Daymark Living residents, Victoria Brockinton, a SAGU social work major, began searching for creative solutions.
Daymark Living is a residential community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and it is also where Brockinton was completing her social work practicum. During her time at Daymark, she was able to connect SAGU students in her community outreach program called Limitless with Daymark residents.
