A new branding project SWFL Fresh: Choose Local, Choose Fresh" hopes to expand public knowledge and buy-in about locally grown foods to better connect Southwest Florida producers with consumers.

Dr. Dale Anderson will succeed
Joy McIntyre as the Sarasota Concert Association’s board president. McIntyre will remain on the SCA board as immediate past president.

Gail Berenson, chair of SCA’s nominating committee, described McIntyre s eight-year tenure as board president as nothing less than remarkable.
Anderson was managing director at BDC Advisors in multispecialty group practice and hospital medical group management until his retirement in 2017.
