<p><p>Local and regional growers get a major boost to build resilience in the food supply chain.<p><p>Take the Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council for one. New president of concert association, 20th anniversary, new attorney

Sarasota Herald-Tribune Dr. Dale Anderson will succeed Joy McIntyre as the Sarasota Concert Association’s board president. McIntyre will remain on the SCA board as immediate past president. During its annual meeting April 22, the board of the Sarasota Concert Association also welcomed Ann Stephenson-Moe and Paula Rothman as new members. Gail Berenson, chair of SCA’s nominating committee, described McIntyre s eight-year tenure as board president as nothing less than remarkable. Anderson was managing director at BDC Advisors in multispecialty group practice and hospital medical group management until his retirement in 2017. Before joining BDC Advisors, he was president of the OhioHealth Medical Specialty Foundation in Columbus, Ohio, where he assisted the $4.54 billion health system in developing the infrastructure for effective physician employment.
