Hawthorne Bridge users will see some changes to approaches from the west side as Portland Burau of Transportation installs new signals.
Beginning Monday, the eastbound ramp to the bridge from northbound Naito Parkway will be closed to all users through the end of the month.
The new traffic signal will make it easier for vehicles to access the bridge and make for a safer crossing for pedestrians and bicyclists. During the work, there may be some extended closures of lanes and at times completely closures of the bridge.
