MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - Mount Pleasant named a 25-year law enforcement veteran as its new police chief Friday morning.
Deputy Chief Mark Arnold will succeed Carl Richie as the town’s top law enforcement officer.
“Mark possesses the education, experience, and skills to serve successfully as Mount Pleasant’s police chief. He understands our community and shares Town Council’s belief in the importance of maintaining a safe community,” Mount Pleasant Town Administrator Eric DeMoura said.
