October 22nd. Parts of of the Granite State slammed into Southern New Hampshire and the seacoast. Drivers navigated flooded roads due to the storm drains clogged with fall leaves. Trying to get through manchester and goffstown. One viewer sent us a picture of her rain gauge in stratham. She says impressive. Weve had a lot of reports between two and three inches and some areas over three inches, well show you those in the full forecast in a few minutes. Look at temperatures even after the rain, in the 50s and 60s, its still warm, but off to the west, cooler air will be lightning and thunder go by, you can see the heaviest rain was in southern and southeastern parts of the state and even northern New Hampshire did see some. Haven for anyone who is ready for help. Now the city of nashua is stepping up launching the states second safe stations program. Wmurs Kristen Carosa is live in nashua to explain. Kristen adam, the process to bring a safe Station Program to nashua started in january and now the city is ready to help people looking for recovery. As you said, nashua is following in manchesters footsteps, which launched their safe Station Program in may. The mayor developed a Drug Task Force earlier this year and that happen. The Program Encourages people suffering from addiction to walk into any fire station to get the help they need. The person will be evaluated and then handed over to a 247 treatment and recovery center. Here in nashua, officials will be working with harbor homes and keystone hall, organizations that will help make that happen. Amr ambulance, Southern New Hampshire medical center, and st. Cleared the coast in the last couple hours, still lingering light rain in the north country. In terms of flood watches, all of those have been dropped.
