On July 8, The Branch County Art Guild held its first meeting since March 2020.
The group gathered at Northview Christian Church where Colon artist, Pat Asbury, taught the 16 who attended how to paint a rosebud in watercolor.
Asbury, a watercolor and acrylics artist, teaches classes at the Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater and at the Commission on Aging in Sturgis and Three Rivers.
Soon, the Branch County Art Guild will exhibit new work at Century Bank and Trust, the Branch District Library, Southern Michigan Bank & Trust in Coldwater and Union City, Kellogg Community College Grahl Center and at the Burnside Senior Center.
