There were 182 new deaths reported, including 101 on Saturday and 81 on Sunday. The next statewide totals show 1,028,750 confirmed cases with now 17,574 deaths around the state. The statewide positivity rate for the past week fell to 7.9 percent, with the Southern Illinois Region at 9.6 percent and our East Central Region at 9,9 percent. The updated statewide totals now show 970,590 confirmed cases and 16,647 coronavirus related deaths.
