NEWPORT NEWS — Arrive hungry and leave Saté (pronounced SAH-tay) happy. The restaurant features lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch with an Asian and Southern flair. It opened about three months ago in City Center at Oyster Point with the tagline “A New American Experience.” Some people may recognize the owner and chef, Kyle Fowlkes, from his award-winning food truck Saté which he launched in 2020 .
A growing restaurant chain that dishes up brunch with a Southern flair expects to open its first of several locations in the Charlotte market next year.
