Toll climbs to 8 dead, 21 missing after heavy rains in Brazil

The toll after heavy rains in Brazil's southern state of Rio Grande do Sul rose to eight dead and 21 missing, regional authorities said Wednesday. Around 130,000 people across Rio Grande do Sul were without drinking water, with telephone and internet service down in at least 60 municipalities as the rain continued.
