No one answered the door Monday at the residence where a neighbor said the incident occurred. Friends or relatives could not be reached.
Richards said she was at a bar playing a game and her son texted her, but she didn’t hear it.
“When I got here, I saw a whole bunch of policemen,” Richards said.
Richards described Evergreen as a family-oriented complex, saying she’s never heard of gunfire incidents there in the past.
Dominick Cilurzo said he’s lived there 13 years.
He said when the incident occurred he’d gotten up. He said he saw lights outside and opened his blinds to see what was happening.
