The family of a woman with bipolar disorder who wandered away from a Saskatchewan hospital last year, and was later found dead, is still searching for answers about how she was able to leave the facility without staff intervening.

A temporary service disruption to note in Melville.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says ER services at St. Peter’s Hospital will be unavailable from 8 a.m. tomorrow (Tues) until Wednesday at 8 a.m.
Inpatient and and lab services will not be affected by the temporary disruption.
In an email, a spokesperson with the SHA cited recent physician vacancies as the reason, but mentioned recruitment efforts are underway to fill those vacancies.
ER services are available at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre, St. Anthony’s Hospital in Esterhazy, All Nations Healing Hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle and the Southeast Integrated Care Centre in Moosomin.
