Death of 7yearold kyzr willis was a tragic accident. Friday afternoon, they ruled out any foul play. Do you think that you were notified in the appropriate amount of time. Yeah, i do. I do. I think, you know, with kyzr here, i think clearly they began a search immediately. The reporter evans said around 2 15 p. M. Tuesday afternoon, counselors cleared all children from the water at the Curley Community Center in south boston, so he would be ready for pickup. Around 2 30 p. M. , kyzr liz brother realized he wasnt in the bath house changing with the rest of the kids. Thats when staff began searching around the area and in the water. At 2 49 p. M. , the director called 911. The harbor master ultimately located kyzrs body in the water. He was pronounced dead shortly after 7 00 p. M. Earlier this week, fox 25 was told kyzr was a strong swimmer, but the commissioner said that day one of the counselors was actually teaching him to swim.
