All administrative offices of the city of El Dorado, including the police and fire departments and El Dorado Water Utilities, will close at 2 p.m. today, ahead of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The 24th annual SouthArk Outdoor Expo kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday at the El Dorado Conference Center and according to organizers, the day will be filled with a variety of activities, including live music, a 5K run, rib cookoff, auto show, student art show, vendors, children s activities and "much, much more."
